NARAYANGANJ: Charge Sheet in sensational Narayanganj 7-murder cases submitted Wednesday with the district court indicting three Army officers among 35 some 11 months after the murder.

District DB police submitted the charge sheet before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in the afternoon.

Three Army officers and councilor Nur Hossain have been indicted.

On April 27 in 2014, seven men, including Narayanganj City councilor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar, were abducted. Their bodies were found floating in river Shitalakhyya some days later.

Relatives of Nazrul Islam and Chandan Sarkar filed two separate cases over the incident.

Police arrested 32 people including 17 Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members.

However, 17 witnesses including 12 RAB members gave their statements.
