DHAKA: Eight members of gang, who allegedly cheat people identifying themselves as law enforcers, were detained from different places of the city on Friday night.

Alongside the detention of the fake DB police, Metropolitan Detective Branch of police seized two microbuses in several drives in the capital.

Confirming the matter, Jahangir Alam, additional deputy commissioner of DMP (media center) said legal action would be taken against the detainees.

Details of the detained members of gang will be disclosed later on the day, he added.
