Lightning kills 2 women in Moulvibazar

MOULVIBAZAR: Two women were killed by lightning at West Hazipur village under Kulaura upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased were identified as Dulu Bibi, 53, and her daughter-in-law Suifa Bibi, 38, of the village.

A local, Joynal Abedin, said the duo were killed being attacked by thunderstorm at the house in the area around 7:30am.

Hazipur Unior Parishad (UP) chairman Mahmud Ali confirmed the matter to banglanews.
