TANGAIL: Micreants has beaten a young man to death in New Bus Stand area of the town on Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Dilip Chandra Das, 35, son of Sunil Chandra Das of Kagmara area of Sadar upazila.

Deceased’s father said Dilip went missing from Tuesday morning and later on Wednesday morning they were informed that he is in under treatment in Tangail Medical College and Hospital.

He said some miscreants beat him indiscriminately in the area early Wednesday.

However, a richshaw puller rushed him to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuried around 10:30am.

Tangail Thana sub-inspector (SI) Mokhlesur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
