RAMPURA: A case has been filed against Juba League leader Monir Hossain, owner of the tin-shed house that collapsed on Wednesday leaving 12 killed in Hajipara of Rampura in the capital.

Rampura Thana Police under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed the case around 4:00pm Thursday.

Sub-Inspector (SI, Investigation) of Rampura Thana Alamgir Bhiuyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police are trying to arrest the owner of tin-shed house, Monir, as he is now fugitive, the SI added.

The accident was held on Wednesday afternoon where scores also injured.
