DHAKA: An unidentified young man was crushed under train wheels in Kuril Bishaw Road area of the city on Friday.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamalapur Railway Thana Abdul Mazid confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the youth was killed crushing under a local train, started from Kamalapur Railway Station, in the area around 10:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.

Being informed, the law enforcers rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Later, the body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
