RAJSHAHI: Two motorcyclists were killed as a bus rammed them on Dhaka-Rajshahi highway in Binodpur area of the metropolitan city on Friday afternoon.

The victims were identified as Ariful Islam, 32, of Debisingpara area and Anwar Hossain, 35, of Shiroail Bus Terminal area of the district.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Motihar Thana Sirajul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a speedy bus hit the motorcycle, coming from opposite direction, and rammed the two riders at around 3:30pm, leaving Ariful dead on the spot and Anwar critically injured.

Locals rushed the injured to the Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) where the attending doctors declared him dead.
