DHAMRAI, DHAKA: Seven people, including four members of a family, were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Barobaria area in Dhamrai upazila on Saturday afternoon.

Two of deceased were identified as Monowar Hossain Manu Mia, 45, son of Shamser Ali of Manikganj and car driver Faruk Hossainm 45.

Highway Police SI Nannu said two passenger buses of Sohag Paribahan and Padmaline ran over a private car one after onether in the area, leaving four dead on the spot.

Three others died on way to hospital, said Saiful Islam, In Charge of Emergency Department Manikganj Sadar Hospital. All the victims were passengers of the private car.
