MAGURA: Police seized 10 petrol bombs, seven cocktails and a locally made gun in an abandoned condition near the house of a BNP activist at Phulbari-Lakshmikol village under sadar upazila of the district Saturday morning.

Sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Asaduzzaman Munshi told banglanews that acting on tips-off, they conducted a drive in the area and seized the explosives and the gun near the house of a BNP activist Abujar.

No one was detained in this regard, he added.

The OC also said police would take actions after proper investigation into the matter.
