PABNA: Three people including a woman were killed and two others injured in a road accident on Pabna-Ishwardi highway in Atmail area under Sadar Upazila on Tuesday morning.

Neither of the deceased nor the injured could be indentified immediately.

Atmail post master Abdus Salam told banglanews that the accident happened when a Pabna-bound passenger bus of Sonar Bangla smashed a CNG-run auto rickshaw around 10:15am, killing three people on the spot and injuring two others.

Sadar Thana Officer-In-Charge (OC) Ahsanul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The OC, however, he could not disclose details about the road crash.
