MUNSHIGANJ: Three auto-rickshaw passengers were killed and four others injured in a road crash in Medinimandal area of Lohajang upazila of the district Tuesday afternoon.

One of the deceased was identified as Siddiqur Rahman, hailed from Dohar. Another was an unidentified woman.

Lohajang Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Rezaul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a Mawa-bound bus, DM Paribahan, coming from Dhaka hit the auto-rickshaw in the area around 4:30pm, leaving the duo dead on the spot and five others injured.

The injured were rushed to different hospitals of the area.

Later, another unidentified man succumbed to his injuries around 6:00pm in a hospital.
