SAVAR, DHAKA: Police filed a case against detained Saiful and 11 others unnamed robbers over Ashulia bank robbery that killed eight people.

The case was filed with Ashulia Thana on Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday, a daring bank robbery turned bloody as robbers shot dead seven people including the bank manager in Ashulia Industrial Area in Savar.

Later angry mob beat to death one of the robbers while they were fleeing with about Tk 35 lakh in broad daylight. Locals also handed another robber over to the police, while the rest managed to flee the scene.
