SYLHET: Police recovered body of a schoolboy from the drain by Abdul Gafur Islami Adarsha Bidyalaya in Darshan Deuri area of Sylhet city on Monday morning.

The victim was a class-4 student of the school.

Metropolitan police Airport Thana assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Lokman Ahmad confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the victim’s father Shahsul Haque filed a general diary (GD) mentioning the missing of his son.

According to the ASI, after recovering the body, police informed Shamsul Haque, who later identified his son.
