DHAKA: A district Court awarded life-term imprisonment to three men for killing a youth some eight years back.

The convicts are—Sujon, son of late Tajul Islam, Rinku, son of late Abul Hossain and Masum, son of Abul Kashem of Ishwardi upazila.

Special Judge Abul Hossain Patwary passed the order at 4:00pm Thursday.

Case statement reads that the convicted men abducted Nasim, 20, son of local Abul Kashem and dumped him in a septic tank after murder on December 11 in 2007.

Police recovered Nasim’s decomposed body five days after murder.
