COX’S BAZAR: Coast Guard personnel on Tuesday detained 116 passengers, who were attempting to go to Malaysia illegally, from deep sea, at the south of Saint Martin’s islands.
Confirming the matter, coast guard public relations officer (PRO) Lieutenant Commander Durul Huda told banglanews that the personnel also seized a trawler that was carrying them.
“All the detained passengers are male,” he added.
