SIRAJGANJ: Three persons were killed and another injured in a road accident on the western side road of the Bangabandhu Bridge connecting road in Konabari area under Kamarkhand Upazila of the district early Sunday.

Neither the deceased nor the injured could be identified.

Police sources said that a running truck hit another truck, standing roadside, in the area around 4:15am as it, leaving three dead on the spot and another injured.

The deceased were the driver and his helper of the running truck while the other was a child.

The injured were admitted at the district’s Sadar Hospital.
