DHAKA: The cabinet Monday approved a protocol to implement Land Boundary Agreement (LBA) with India.

The approval came from a cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, cabinet secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan made the disclosure to reporters.

Earlier at the beginning of this month, Indian Parliament cleared a bill to ratify the LBA with Bangladesh, with the Lok Sabha also passing the measure.
