DHAKA: The Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry on Wednesday proposed setting up of Special Tribunal in all seven divisions of the country to put a stop to human trafficking.

Law Minister Anisul Huq disclosed the matter to journalists at his secretariat office at noon.

He further said the proposal was sent to seven divisions to set up the tribunals which will be directed by existing laws.

AS per the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking Act, 2012, death sentence is the highest punishment for such an act.
