DHAKA: An unidentified youth was killed in a gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel at Motijheel in city in the wee hours of Thursday.

The incident took place in a motor garage on the opposite side of Sadeq Hossain Community Center in the area around 1am.

Sub-Inspector of Motijheel Thana Sheikh Farid Uddin told banglanews that they learnt there was a gunfight with RAB-3 in the area that left the youth injured critically.

Later, police rushed the youth to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

RAB-3 SP (operations) Saiful Islam said they seized huge amount of drugs and arms from the spot.
