DHAKA: Hotel Sundarban authorities will file a case against the builders of the collapsed under construction building in area.

The hotel Manager Abdul Sattar informed the matter to media Thursday noon.

He said they estimated the loss for the collapsed wall, basement and other damages. They will sue authorities of under-construction building to realize the compensation, he added.

In the meantime, the hotel authorities filed a General Diary (GD) in concerned police station.

He also alleged that the hotel has remained in vulnerable situation as sands are being poured in the hole slowly. It will be free from the risk once the holes were filled up with sand.

“We are also facing huge loss as the hotel remain closed after the accident”, Sattar added.

Earlier on Wednesday, the northeast portion of the basement of Sundarban Hotel in city fell down hours after the collapse of a part of its adjacent under-construction building.
