TANGAIL: Rail Communication of northern region in the country with Dhaka resumed after one and half hours’ halt following broke down of a tree on rail line near Mahera Rail Station under Mirzapur Upazila Friday afternoon.

Gharinda Railway Station Master Jalal Uddin told banglanews that the rail link restored as the authorities concerned removed the tree around 6:15pm.
 
Sources said the tree got broken during the heavy storm in the area around 4:45pm, halting Ishawardi-bound local train coming from Dhaka.
