Tk 1.20-cr gold seized at Shahjalal

DHAKA: The customs detective of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday seized 24 gold bars worth Tk 1.20-crore from an aircraft.

The gold was recovered when the Dubai-returned aircraft was parked at hanger area of the airport in the afternoon.

Assistant director of customs detective authority Umme Nahida confirmed the matter to banglanews.
