DHAKA: The Detective Branch (DB) police detained Abdullah Al Galib, coordinator of Ansarullah Bangla Team and Islamic State Bangladesh unit, from Baridhara DOHS area in the capital on Saturday night.

DB Senior Assistant Commissioner Mahfuzul Alam Russell confirmed the matter to banglanews Sunday.

He also said Abdullah Al Galib has formed a new militant outfit named ‘Al Junud Wal Khalifa’ with 10/12 members.

Galib also trained the militants; however the place is yet to be confirmed, Mahfuzul Alam Russell added.
