DHAKA: Police detained a militant of Ansarullah Bangla Team early Sunday from Badda area of the capital for masterminding the Ashulia broad daylight bank robbery that killed eight people last month.
Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) SM Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The name of the militant could not be named immediately as DMP will disclose details in a press briefing later in the day.
