Trafficked Bangladeshis to be brought back in a month Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque

DHAKA: All the Bangladeshi victims of human trafficking and fortune seekers stranded at sea and in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia will be brought back home within a month.

Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque made the disclosure at a briefing at his office on Tuesday noon.

He said the trafficked Bangladeshis will be brought back from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

The numbers of the Bangladeshi victims are between 1200 and 1500, he added.
