DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the government officials to work with love and affection for the development of the country.

She made the assertion as chief guest at the concluding ceremony of law and administration course for 92nd and 93rd batches at Bangladesh Civil Service Academy on Tuesday.

Pointing to the government officials, the premier said that it is their duty to serve people. ‘You should keep in mind that our salaries and bonuses come from the hardship of common people.’

Mentioning her incumbent government’s sincerity in developing the country, the PM said, ‘We did not come to do business. We are working for the up-gradation of people’s lifestyle’.

She also hoped that the government officials can contribute to the development of the country by using their talent and innovation besides the routine works.
