BRAHMANBARIA: Two pedestrians including a minor were killed in a road accident in Radhika Bus Stand area under Sadar upazila of the district Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Yasin Bhuiyan, 32, fish trader and son of late Harmuz Ali of Jograsar village and Saidul Islam, 8, son of Zakir Hossain of South Jograsar village.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Brahmanbaria Sadar Thana Akul Chandra Biswas confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a speedy truck run over Yasin and Saidul while they were crossing the road in the area around 8:00am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

Later, locals caught the truck driver, Kajum Uddin, and seized the truck. However, the driver and truck kept in Sadar Thana.
