CHANPAINAWABGANJ: Three motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Kendul area under Sadar Upazila of the district Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Faruk, 30, son of Muntaj Ali of Kendul village Nayan, 42, son of Shafiqul Islam, Nure Alam Siddique, 30, Shafiqul Islam of Tanore Upazila of Rajshahi.

Sadar Thana Sub-Inspector Jahangir Alam told banglanews that a speedy truck ran over a motorbike on Amnura-Godagari road around 12:30pm, leaving two dead on the spot.

Injured Nayan was rushed to Sadat Hospital where attending doctors declared him dead around 1:00pm.

After hitting the bike, the truck tumbled upside down on the street.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Sarwar Jahan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
