DHAKA: Police recovered hanging body of a woman from city’s Uttara area on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Afrin Bithi (28), wife of Saidul Islam.

Uttara West Thana sub-inspector (SI) Abu Raihan said that after getting information from the victim’s husband police recovered the body from a house in Sector-11 of Uttara.

‘Later, we have sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy,’ he added.

According to the SI, reason behind the death will come out after autopsy.
