DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Wednesday has fixed office hours for all banks from 9am to 4pm for the month of Ramadan.

Transaction hours will be between 9:30am and 2:30pm, the central bank also said in a statement signed by Ibrahim Bhuiyan, Deputy General Manager (Department of Off-site supervision).

The holy Ramadan is expected to commence from June 19, if the moon is sighted.
