LONDON: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reunited with her daughter Saima wazed Putul, sister Sheikh Rehana, and her niece Tulip Siddiq on Friday for the first time since Tulip become the Member of British Parliament.

Tulip met her aunt at London Hilton on Park Lane hotel around 8:00pm local time. As Hasina had a schedule to visit physician for eye treatment, she kept Tulip waiting at the hotel.

Sources closed to Tulip told banglanews that she had a long discussion with her aunt after her returning hotel from physician.

Hasina told Tulip, “You are a responsible politician now - an MP of the British Parliament.”

“I came to this position, taking inspiration from you,” the newly elected UK MP replied to the Bangladesh premier.

Earlier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ aircraft ‘Ranga Provat', carrying Hasina and her entourage, landed at Heathrow International Airport at 3:48pm local time.

Bangladesh high commissioner in London M Abdul Hannan, Awami League leaders of UK unit and Bangladeshi expatriates received the premier at the airport.

Hasina’s daughter Saima, however, came to London from Canada to meet her mother.
