MUNSHIGANJ: Over 400 vehicles have remained stuck on Shimulia and Kaorakandi route on Saturday morning due to the disruption in ferry service on river Padama.
Most of the vehicles are goods-laden trucks.
Mawa river post police sub-inspector (IS) Mohammad Yunus told banglanews that the ferry service over river Padma is being disrupted due to rough weather in monsoon.
According to him, over 400 vehicles are remaining stuck on both sides of river Padma.
Number of the vehicles is increasing on the route to cross the mighty river, he said.
Police are working to make the traffic congestion easy, he added.
