Fake notes worth Tk 2.88-lakh seized in city

DHAKA: A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-10 seized fake currencies worth Tk 2.88 lakhs from Sayedabad area in city Monday night.

RAB-10 officials also detained two persons in this regard.

Assistant Director of Legal and Media Wing of RAB HQ Major Maqsudul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The detainees are being quizzed, he added.
