DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested four ‘professional killers’ from city’s Rupnagar area.

Moreover, four foreign-made pistols, a single-barrel shooter, three knives and 21 rounds of bullets were seized during the drive, conducted on Thursday early morning.

The arrestees have been identified as Sheikh Akbar Ali (36), Rana Sheikh (23), Sohel (33) and Babul (45).

Confirming the matter to banglanews, RAB-4 operation officer Sumon Ahmed Shaon said on tips-off, the conducted the drive at a house in city’s Rupganj area at dawn.

RAB sources said that they came from Khulna to Dhaka with a killing plan.

The arrestees are accused of several murder cases as they were hired for killings, the sources added.
