DHAKA: International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 on Sunday recalled the arrest warrant issued against Gonosasthya Kendra founder Zafrullah Chowdhury for not paying fine in contempt charge.

The 3-member tribunal recalled the warrant after getting the Chamber Judge’s stay order in hand on Sunday.

On Thursday (June 18) ICT-2 Thursday issued arrest warrant against him for not paying court contempt fine within the given time.

Zafrullah Chowdhury was fined Tk 5,000 for criticizing the punishment of Dhaka-based British journalist David Bergman.
