DHAKA: A group of muggers snatched Tk 4 lakh after making Honey Telecom owner Anwar Hossain a hostage in city’s Banasree area on Sunday.

Anwar told banglanews that a group of 4/5 armed men entered the shop and make him owner a hostage.

They snatched Tk 4 lakh from the cash, he added.

Rampura Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Mostafizur Rahman said on information police visited the spot.

A mugging case has been filed in this regard, he added.
