FROM NATIONAL PARLIAMENT: State minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that a total of 430 foreign citizens are now in Bangladesh prisons.

Among the arrestees, 237 prisoners are Myanmar nationals, the state minister said in a reply to Mohammad Mamunur Rashid at the National Parliament on Tuesday morning during the session.

The other arrestees include 146 from India, 43 from Pakistan, 10 from Nigeria, 7 from Thailand, 3 from Tanzania and 2 from Nepal and Cameroon each.

According to the date presented by the state minister also showed that among the arrestees one from Ghana, Peru and Algeria each.
