COXSBAZAR: A flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar is underway Thursday over the repatriation of abducted BGB Nayek Abdur Razzak.

A 7-member BGB team led by BGB-42 Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jar Al Zahid went to Maungdaw of Myanmar in the morning.

Cox’s Bazar BGB sector commander Colonel MM Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on June 17, the Myanmar Border police shot BGB man Biplob and took another BGB trooper Razzak away after a shootout in the Naf River along the border.
