TANGAIL:  Four people were killed and another one sustained injuries in a road accident in Kostapara area on Dhaka-Tangail Bangabandhu Bridge highway on Friday.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Highway Alenga police outpost In-Charge Sergent Kamruzzman Raj told banglanews that a Mymensingh-bound bus crashed into a auto-rickshow, coming from opposite direction,  in the area around 9:30am, leaving three people dead on the spot and two others injured.

The injured were rushed to Tangail Medical Colelge Hospital where one of them cucumbed to injuires.
