FARIDPUR: Two suspected robbers were lynched by angry mobs in Boalmari upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as Milon, 30 and Murad, 28, hailed from Chandpur union of the district.

Police said locals were guarding the village Hatkholarchar after robbing spree in the area. On Sunday night, they beat three unknown youths, riding on motorbike, in the night suspecting as robbers after finding lethal weapons from their possession.

Two of them died on the spot and one managed to flee the scene, police added.
