COX’S BAZAR: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 40,000 pieces of yaba tablets in a drive conducted at a ghat on the bank of river Naf on early Thursday.

But they could not nab anyone.

Confirming the matter to banglanews BGB-45 commander Lieutenant Colonel Abu Jaar Al Zahid said they seized the yaba tablets worth of over Tk 1-crore.

They have handed over the haul of illegal tablets to BGB-45 headquarters, Zahid added.
