HABIGANJ: Four people were killed as lightning strikes in Birat-Kushiara Ferry Ghat under Ajmiriganj upazila of the district on Wednesday morning,

Identity of the thunderbolt victims could not be known immediately.
 
Witnesses said four died after being struck by thunderbolt on their way to Ajmiriganj Bazar from Birat village by a boat around 11:00am.

Ajmiriganj Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Taimur Box Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.
