DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion detained two teenaged boys for their alleged involvement in abduction of a one-and-half-year old boy from city’s Kamrangirchar area.

A team of RAB, in a drive, held the duo –Ramjan, 15 and Swapan, 16 -- from Jatrabari area around 10am, RAB-2 commanding officer (CO) Masudur Rahman told banglanews.

He said the two teens allegedly kidnapped Jubair Hossain, the one-and-half-year old boy, from Kamrangirchar area on Tuesday.

Later, they claimed Tk 2 lakh ransom from victims’ parents over mobile phone.

According to complaints of the victims’ parents, they were detained from Jatrabari this morning.
