DHAKA: The main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation was held in National Eidgah in the city at 8:30am on Saturday amid drizzling.
President Abdul Hamid, top judges, Cabinet ministers, Members of Parliament, politicians, lawyers and people from all walks of life joined the Eid jamaat there.

Devotees had started gathering from different parts of the city since 6:30am ignoring the drizzling.
The President arrived at the National Eidgah around 8:20am and then he extends eid greetings to all through Imam. Later, the Eid prayers started on the scheduled time.

After offering prayers, Maulana Mohammad Jalaluddin al-Kaderi, prayed for continued peace, progress and happiness of people of the country and Muslim Ummah of the world.
Later, all of the attendees exchanged eid greetings with tradition culture, by hugging one another.

PGR, RAB, Ansar, police force and intelligence have remained vigilance to ensure security at National Eidgah where the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr was held.
