SYLHET: Police detained another accused in the case for torturing Samiul Alam Rajon to death in Kumargaon of the city.

The detainee is identified as Ruhul Amin, the brother-in-law of detained accused Ali Haider.
  
With the capture of Ruhul, a total of 11 suspects were detained in the killing case.

Jalalabad Thana officer-in-charge Akter Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews on Saturday night. 

On July 8, Samiul Islam Rajon, 13, was beaten to death in accusation of stealing a rickshaw van at Kumargaon of Sylhet sadar upazila.

A 28-minute video clip on the brutal torture to the boy to death has gone viral on the internet, creating a firestorm on the social media.

Earlier on July 8, locals caught one Muhit Alam (22) when he was taking the body in a microbus (Dhaka Metro-Cha-54-0516) to dump outside. Then they handed over him to the police.
