SYLHET: Body of the college student, who went missing while bathing in the Piain River at Jaflong Wednesday, was recovered in Noyabasti area, two kilometers away from the accident spot on Friday night.

The victims was identified as Abdullah Antar, 18, son of M Sanaullah, Class-XI students of Kabi Nazrul College and hailed from Wari in the capital.

Locals recovered the body of Antar from the river near to Noyabasti area of Jaflong tea garden around 10:30pm and informed police.

On information, police rushed to the spot and took the body to their custody, said Goainghat Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdul Hye.

Earlier on Wednesday, two students of Kabi Nazrul College -- Abdullah Antar and Sohagh Ghosh -- went missing while bathing in the Piain River at tourist spot Jaflong.
