GAIBANDHA: Three persons including a husband and wife were run over by a bus on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Fasitola area under Gobindaganj upazila.

The deceased were identified as Ismail Hossain, 40, his wife Tara Begum, 28 and Alim Mia of Masta village.

Witnesses said that a bus of Hanif Paribahan turned turtle while over-taking a bus of same paribahan in the area at 10:00pm Monday, leaving 18 injured.

The injured were rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, Bogra and three of them succumbed to their injuries early Tuesday.

Gobindaganj Highway Thana OC Enamul Haq confirmed the matter to banglanews.
