NOAKHALI: Two transgender people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Begumganj upazila of the district Friday.

Identity of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said a Noakhali-bound bus from Feni collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Dokanghar area around 9am, leaving the duo, passengers of auto, dead on the spot and three, including its driver, injured.

The injured were sent to local hospital.

Noakhali additional police super Ashrafuzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
