DHAKA: A two-year old minor was killed and two others injured in a road accident at Banani area in city Friday afternoon.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Traffic sergeant Anis, who was on duty in the area, told banglanews a woman was going to Banani from Gulshan-2 around 5:45pm with her two children.

Meanwhile, a bus of Robrob Paribahan knocked the rickshaw and ran over the child, leaving it dead on the spot and its mother and brother injured, he added.

Sergeant Anis also said they seized the bus but the driver managed to flee the spot.
