DHAKA: Customs Intelligence department detained two people with two gold bars from immigration area of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Sunday night.

The detainees --Alamin and Badiuzzmaan, hailed from Savar upazila, --arrived in Dhaka by EK 582 flight coming from Dubai.

Customs Intelligence department assistant commissioner Umme Nahida confirmed the matter to banglanews.
 
Nahida said four gold bars were seized from the possession of the duo each. The estimated market value of seized gold bars is Tk 40lakh.
